Characteristics
Engine Propulsion of A320-200
The engine is a dual-rotor,
variable stator, high bypass ratio turbo fan power
plant for subsonic services. The principal modules of the engine are:
ü low pressure compressor (fan stator and fan rotor)
ü high pressure compressor
ü turbine frame
ü combustion chamber
ü high pressure turbine
ü low pressure turbine
ü accessory drives (gear box)

Landing Gear of A320-200
The landing gear is of the
conventional retractable tricycle type comprising:
ü Two main gears with twin wheel or four wheels bogie assembly,
ü A twin wheel nose gear.
The main landing gear twin wheel
landing gears are located under the wing and retract sideways towards the
fuselage centerline.. The landing gear and landing gear doors operation is
controlled electrically and hydraulically operated. In abnormal operation, the
landing gear can be extended by gravity.
